Hi

So, this may or may not be completely uninteresting.

I'm an Editorial Assistant and an improvisor at the Improv Asylum in Boston. I fully expect everyone reading this to already know that, of course, but I'm flattering myself today and speculating that someday, someone other than my sister and Renee (loveable New Hampshire based best friend) will read it.

This week has been filled with the most insufferable weather in Boston. There's been a lot of wet socks and hate trudges (that's when you're trudging through gross shit and you're filled with particularly firey hate which directs itself at every animate and inanimate object, imagined or actually in your way).

In my mind I keep imagining the Summer and picturing myself blissfully strolling down cobblestone streets, throwing twenty dollar bills at homeless people, mothers handing me their infants to hold, and high fiving crossing guards. I'm blonde in this scenario, by the way, and there's some upbeat but non-intrusive music in the background.

Pretty much like every Summer day I've ever experienced.

So listen, you're great. Bye!

I don't get the title "Unemployed in Greenland". Though it is true that you are currently unemployed in the country of Greenland.

Good luck with the blog!

I partook in one of these so appropriately named "Hate Trudges" you speak of today. I had my laptop all packed up and was looking forward to a nice late morning tea and bagel combo at this great little place with free internet access on Harvard St. in Allston...I had been looking forward to it all morning and was only mildly discouraged when I looked out the window before my trek began and saw how shitty it was out. I decided to take the walk, regardless. I was extrememly careful to avoid every gigantic puddle I could, taking the long way to avoid stepping through any of the nastiness. I was about four storefronts away from the cafe when I inadvertently stepping into ankle deep water with not one, but both of my brand new sketchers. Soaked straight through. I proceeded to sit and drink tea with soaking wet socks for two hours. Fuckin A. I don't think I've ever hated anything more than that damn puddle.

I AM READING YOUR BLOG!

definitely had a hate-trudge today. I'm working late so I'm gonna have a nighttime-hate-trudge which should make it 5% worse.

I now need to get my blog working again. EMcGhee has raised the stakes!

My new goal for 2008 is to be in your "Fascinating Individuals" section. A little lofty? Maybe, but so was auditioning for a comedy troupe the day after 9-11. My previous goal for 2008: Finding and killing Sylvester Stallone before he can pitch Judge Dredd 2 to the studios. Its doable.

Bill, you are always in the "Fascinating People" section of my heart. What's your website? I miss you!
